On one of my restoration I found a dimple in the chassis. I carefully hammered it out in the belief that is was damaged and not how it was made.
I later found another with a dimple and decided that a little more research was required. Other enthusiasts were able to find more models with the dimple, so what was it for ?
So far there is no explanation except the assumption that it was for alignment during the assembly process
So here is a challenge, to find out what is was for. Also are there any from the list below that did not have the dimple?
